I was talking to a buddy who is a rare DINO and whose son is at UGA.

He said his son's friends are not really political but they all loathe Biden and most other prominent Democrats, and it caught him off guard the depth of disgust he and his friends have for Democratic leaders (which doesn't really resemble how we view them here - as communists, etc.). Per him, they view Trump as an afterthought/douche but don't have any sort of malice toward him/people like him.

My take, which my buddy agrees with, is they've all internalized all this anti-young man crap for most of their lives and now that they're coming into their own it's coming out in a visceral hatred of the establishment left they view (rightfully) as having promoted it. They're rapists, racists, dumb, should never get a leg up, are the source of all the problems, etc. It's going to get interesting out there and I don't necessarily mean the polling place.
