Some may remember the Atlanta snow/icestorm about ten years ago that shut the whole city down because it wasn't forecasted until about 12 hours prior, with whatever models they used. About 3 days prior, an old black lady that worked as a security guard at my office building told me it was going to snow, because she'd seen the "snow birds".
