Still driving my 2014 ford that I paid off in 2020, and I won’t be buying anything new until at least 2029 and it rolling over 400k miles (I just made 200k miles with it.) barring it blowing up or totaling it out.
I take good care of it. Religiously do all my own maintenance. Keep it pretty clean inside and out. I never get new truck fever. I’m going to hang on to it at least until 2034.
I’ve been taking the extra $628 available dollars each month and throwing it at my mortgage for the last three years.
