re: Raymond’s history at LSU

For the sake of argument to advocate for Raymond, could it be he’s at the point in his coaching life now that he wants to come home, coach the DBs at LSU and his days of chasing an extra buck or an extra coaching title is over? No doubt his last 2-3 classes at LSU were pathetic and no doubt he got burned on Surtain (arguably partially of his own making). But he’s coached and recruited a lot of very good players, most in-state, at LSU. A more mature Cory Raymond settled and focused on recruiting and developing DBs at LSU and no longer chasing the extra buck and interviewing on the side may work?
