He’s good and had a great year but most impactful QB, sorry no. Excluding LSU players Cam Newton won a NC with a mediocre team in the toughest division in CFB that year by a wide margin

wrong. he had the best defensive player in the country, a great offensive line, and a very good running back, not to mention a fairly new offensive approach that defenses were still figuring out.
