Not a movie prequel, but a game of thrones prequel titled: "The Warden of the West" that follows the life of Tywin Lannister. It covers multiple wars, periods and areas of Westeros. His childhood with his father he was ashamed of. The Rains of Castamere, the abduction of the Mad King, the Mad King becoming the Mad King, Roberts Rebellion. Pretty good mini-series.

Kinda want a post-ROTJ Luke Skywalker movie to get the bad taste out of my mouth from TLJ. Disney would probably frick that up too, though.

TLJ is the most poorly executed film in movie history. Man, all people wanted to see from that film was Luke Skywalker (one of the greatest heroes in movie history) at peak power wrecking shite and dishing out Force wisdom. But instead of that someone had to try to be unique and turn Luke into a bitch. And not only that but kill off the main villain and leave the third movie with no better option but to bring back Sidious after he was last seen falling down a deep chasm and blowing up in the Death Star that then blew up itself. That is a triple dose of death.

And the movie could have maybe somewhat redeemed itself in the end with Luke actually being on the planet and fricking up all the First Order and humbling Kylo. But they couldn’t do that either.

There have been a lot of bad movies, but none of those movies were gifted Luke fricking Skywalker to build a film around and an infinite resources to do it. Battlefield Earth with OT Luke Skywalker would have been an Oscar winner compared to TLJ.

I would rather Luke Skywalker had embraced the dark side in the ST and become Darth Cocknocker than what I saw in TLJ.
