They are not an outlier. UT-Austin and Washington are two of the most prestigious public universities in the country.

Yeah Alabama dominating football is definitely new. They’ve only done that for close to a century now.
The reality is any school that plays big time college football has ignored the academics of its student athletes for decades.
Michigan is arguably the best public school in the nation, and they took Eyabi Anoma who got kicked out of Alabama and Houston.
