Dealers in Germany are owned by the manufacturers and there's not a lot of bullshite involved with getting a new car. Somehow they are able to get by.
Couldn’t car manufacturers start a subsidiary or separate company to handle car sales and service. And if a dealer is not living up to the standard of a brand, they manipulate the dealer in to selling to this subsidiary or they open a competing dealer down the street in the same market.
It is the same way with restaurants like McDonald’s. Except that McDonald’s owns the real estate and the “owner” leases the restaurant from McDonald’s and if the owner is not living up to McDonald’s standards they either get a new owner or a separate holding company buys it from the owner until it can be sold to new ownership.
