I’ll let you in on a little secret, the wolves are already in Colorado from when they were released in Yellowstone.
I think letting the population trickle in from Wyoming is the best option though. Reintroduction will hurt the elk population for the first couple of years.

But the governor said now we can hear wolves for the first time in decades. The 10 wolves that were already here were the silent type.
The worst part is people voted to reintroduce wolves without increasing taxes to pay for it. This expensive project funding is coming out of the general LWF budget. It’s a zero sum game so something else had to lose for the wolves to win.
