No judgment at all—I'm no expert on your setup. Sounds like there might be a culture issue going on though? If you're in a leadership spot, maybe you could nudge it in a positive direction?
A culture of trust, empathy, open comms, and teamwork is just plain better for everyone. It makes the biz function like a well-oiled machine, and it’s a mindset that’s top down. Tough to build & maintain, but totally worth it. My best, most fun, and most rewarding work moments were bred from operating under principles where people and culture are front and center.
In my world, collaborating with other teams is a necessity. Understanding their needs and journeys helps me help them as well as customers. I can’t say enough how impactful it is when others can depend on me and I on them without letting egos get in the way. When everyone is on the same page and truly willing/able to support one another, magic happens.
