Seeing that finals just completed, IF (big if) it's related to him being disappointed then I'd say he didn't make the grades and isn't looking at a bowl performance for academic reasons.

Not that it means anything, but Kelly said everybody that was available the last game of the season is available for the bowl.

If he graduate ND - grades shouldn't be an issue

Would be interesting if he remained academically eligible at ND, but couldn't at LSU.
