20 year retail guy here.
1st you can’t use Covid math to justify your reasoning. 2nd EVERY vehicle has 3-5% mark up. 3rd what really gets the consumer is you owe 40k on a ten year old vehicle that’s worth 18k, you put zero down and financed your taxes too. Oh and your credit sucks and the only lender willing to take the risk wants to charge a 3,000 fee. But it’s always the dealer trying hard to get you! Ha. Ha ha
