I understood when fans rallied behind a fifth-year senior like Flynn. He waited patiently and deserved the respect of the fans and to be given a chance to fail. So a little loyalty was in order.

But why do you guys feel that JL is due the same type of support when he's performed the way that he's performed. Some bright spots, but more brain farts. Why not consider the consitent performer. What has JL done to earn loyal support?

I think regardless of his play he was the QB in the game and should have been supported. He's just a freshman and people were booing him like he was a 5th year senior. His play was awful but the way the fans treated him was much worse.

so, we don't boo a 5th year senior because he has earned the respect of the fans. And we don't boo a freshman because he isn't a 5th year senior. got it.

Let me rephrase... No gaffes in execution. I see he's a gun slinger. But at time he seems to just say fk it, whatever happens, happens.

We have to support the QB thats on the field, probably the same way you loyal Bama fans supported JPW thru the bad times?

I think these people are rellated to JL I cannot find any fans that agree with BT.

LEE

38% Passing 4int 2 pick six v Ala. at home dry feild

33% passing 2int v ole miss at home dry feild.

40% 1 pick six v tulane at home dry feild

cannot run cannot throw

JJ is superior in every aspect of the game
Passing running looks off safties unlike JL.

Randall is head and shoulders above him and Sheppard is a Heisman potential player. Simply put, unbelievable. Don't think too many fans are worried about JL right now.

Les's history shows seniority wins out every time, regardless of talent.

Being a freshman and possibly being a big part of LSU's future.

Allow me to explain it to you. Because he's a kid who made a commitment to come to LSU for an education and to play FB.

Because as embarrassing for him as it had to be as a redshirt freshman to be in the midst of the hornet's nest after all those pick 6's, he kept putting on his helmet and going back out there to try ... again and again, until he went down with the injury in the Ole Miss game.

Because as crappy of a game as he and the rest of the entire LSU team had the first 43 minutes or so against "just Troy", the larger part of that time with boos raining down on him from the moment his name was announced, he put his helmet back on, trotted back out on the field and kept slinging it until the last second ticked off the clock and LSU beat "just Troy".

But most of all, just because he's an LSU Tiger.

He's our LSU Tiger. That's why.

Please kill the violin. Where was this support in the past. So basically supporters back him because they sympathize for him? You can support him by just being less critical.

Wanting him to be at the head is totally different. Ive never seen this type of tiger forgiveness before.

Lee will be alright next year; JJ isn't better than him.... tell me what is the JJ's completion percentage ? I believe it not better than Lee's .

Lee will start next year b/c of his experiences he gained this year. Book it.
