It’s still bleeding because of how you cut it. Instead of cutting at a 90 degree angle to the skin, you cut it at an angle causing a skin avulsion type injury.
This causes the subcutaneous vessels to get cut radially instead of transected straight across. When vessels get cut straight across they can contract and coagulate. When they get cut radially they can’t contract and it’s harder to get the bleeding to stop.
No worries though, it’ll stop. Agree with other posters: no need for alcohol or peroxide. Just soap and water. Pat dry. Gentle compressive dressing will help to stop it bleeding.
