#12 class does not cut it. LSU recruits itself with the NFL talent that you could stick anyone at head coach and they would pull in a #12 class. I'm personally sick of the people who think stars don't matter because it absolutely 100% does matter. Just because you name one guy out of the 1,500 3 stars that year that pans out, doesn't mean vast majority don't.

Our DB's this year were 3-star, FCS galore, and it showed.

Our best players this year were all extremely high 4 stars: Jayden Daniels #35 on 247 (basically a 5 star), BTJ #69 overall on 247, Malik #150. Somehow 247 has all 3 rated a lot higher than ESPN, so 247 was more correct.

Not all 4 and 5 stars pan out, but as a collective group, which is all you can go by, they sure as hell outperform 3 stars. I like to compare it to real life. Not all people who score 33+ on the ACT are rich, but I'd bet my bank that those wo score 33+ on the ACT make 3x the amount of money compared to those who score 17-21 on the ACT. Are there some 20 ACT'ers who are rich because they took over Daddy's company with no skill via nepotism or are just really good salesman? Yes. Most aren't though as a collective group.

What I'm saying is that BK will not win a Nati here unless he starts pulling in Top 5 to 7 classes FOR 3 STRAIGHT CLASSES
