Well I just think if you are going to celebrate his birth, then you might as well celebrate in in the sept-oct time frame when he was actually born
It’s during sukkot. The feast of Tabernacles
Side note. I lived in a neighborhood with orthadox Jews and I noticed that the booths they built every year to live outside in it during the feast and they look an awful lot like the stable scenes depicted in the nativity.
I can lay out the scriptures that prove it if you would like
