Once I learned that Ohtani cleared 40 million last season on endorsements alone it all made perfect sense. I suspect that that number will increase with a huge market team like the Dodgers. His fame is going to only increase now and the money is about to get stupid from everywhere.

The Dodgers can now keep big pieces around him. The guy is brilliant when you think about it.
