What I really liked is there's obviously tons of footage of real carrier flight ops and the brief dogfight scene was 100% not CGI. You can even see the yaw string in most of the shots.
I watched an interview this morning of a bunch of the navy guys involved with it. Those guys were cool af. They did some pretty wild shite to get that movie filmed. It was done by CW Lemoine, who's a coonass milita pilot.
