First, frick this country's stupid tipping culture. Signed up for Walmart plus. Thought I'd give it a try.
First order I see that there's a tip option. Wtf? Then I start digging into it and see that third party drivers are going to deliver your groceries? frick that.
I don't door dash or Uber eats or any of that bullshite. I'm not tipping when I'm paying for a subscription. I'm also not going to not tip and trust some lackey with my groceries.
Back to just going with Amazon prime and Costco. I'll pick my stuff up myself.
And before the "you're cheap" comments rain down. I do tip at least 20 percent or more for good dine in service at restaurants. But I am very anti tipping for take out or counter service.
shite is ridiculous especially when food is so outrageous now.
We use it pretty much once a week for our major grocery shopping and I wouldn't care if they added 20% to the bill if it meant I could stay the frick out a WalMart in particular or any grocery store in general. I wouldn't do it though if buying groceries was a major portion of our income...I'd bit the bullet and wade through that dismal mass of humanity like most folks do.
There is also the $.10 a gallon discount at the Murphy Station that comes with the subscription. They usually have the lowest gas prices in our area and they are quick and there ain't a lot of shite to waste money on....plus a $.10 a gallon discount...
