In scripture, God lets it be known that all have a direct line to Him through Jesus. This was shown when Jesus offered up His spirit and at that moment the veil separating God from man was rent in two. God was now accessible through Jesus.
I don't need the dead bones of any person to 'intercede' for me, nor do I need Jesus's earthly mother to do it. Mary was just the vessel that God used to bring Jesus into the world. She's not in any way, shape, or form on any equal standing with Lord the Father, or Jesus the Savior. It's blasphemy to suggest otherwise.

no you don’t - He saying His mother is blessed because she listened to God quote:no one has said that - that is your misinterpretation, and to downplay Mary, the mother of God, who is called blessed in scripture, who was handpicked by God to be His Son’s mother leads me to believe you interpret scripture to your benefit - pride leaves God out

I used to be told that the Virgin Mary was worship by the Catholics. I replied that Catholics don't worship her they hold her to the highest esteem. I was also told that the Catholic's religion was a pagan one since we worship statues. I told the people who actually told me that crap that they don't worship statues they simply ask the person that the statues represent to grant them favors.Why argue with a person about religion when you believe GOD? My dad told me never to discuss three things with a person and the three things are politics,sex and religion.
