quote:Catholics do not believe that Mary shares God’s glory - get that out of your head
God does not share his glory with anyone.
quote:it’s really not clear just because you interpret it differently and construe your meaning how you want it to be
It really could not be more clear.

if you study Scripture,
quote:although He gave His mother to the Apostle John and listens to her at the wedding
Jesus's entire ministry did he say, hint, allude, suggest: "If you can't get through to me, you can always try going through my mom."
Do you not ask other people to pray for you? Or you can do it all by yourself?
What about your interpretation of Luke 18:19?

I take it right from Jesus.

In scripture, God lets it be known that all have a direct line to Him through Jesus. This was shown when Jesus offered up His spirit and at that moment the veil separating God from man was rent in two. God was now accessible through Jesus.
I don't need the dead bones of any person to 'intercede' for me, nor do I need Jesus's earthly mother to do it. Mary was just the vessel that God used to bring Jesus into the world. She's not in any way, shape, or form on any equal standing with Lord the Father, or Jesus the Savior. It's blasphemy to suggest otherwise.
