My aunt has always spoken of the 80s in defense of Nola, saying "this is nothing!" and now she says "It feels like the 80s all over again".
I didn't say it's the worst New Orleans has ever been, I said it's getting noticeably and measurably worse, meaning worse than it has been in recent decades.
