"Florida State is 13-0 and champions of the ACC, but we don't think their QB play is up to par so therefore we're leaving them out".

It's completely asinine logic.

It is part of the criteria that was set at the creation of the CFP committee. They didn't make the rules. They are playing by the rules.

Do you think FSU would beat Bama today if they played each other, even if they played in Tallahassee? I hate Bama, but I have to be fair and look for the 4 BEST teams right now

Agree with you. Rather than reward FSU for finding a way to grind out an ugly win with a true freshman 3rd string QB, the CFP committee punishes them because they're not the same team they were before Jordan Travis went down. How is that even remotely fair?

Louisville sucks...handing FSU ACC...

It's completely rational logic.

If you don't believe this, then ask yourself one question: would Mike norvell want Jordan Travis back right now? The obvious answer is yes. Why? Because Florida State is not the same team without him

"Florida State is so damn good, they went undefeated and won their conference with their 3rd strong QB."
