When I was about 8-9 years old, I was with my Dad and we made a jet fuel delivery in these containers Cousteau wanted the fuel in.
Delivered it to THE “CALYPSO” at the NOLA CITY FRONT DOCKS, under the GNO.
Looking back, that was a very dangerous ride with Jet Fuel in the back
Of my Dad’s Van, highly illegal these days I’m sure, this was back in the 80’s though.
Jacques Cousteau, himself, gave me and my Dad a personal tour of his infamous boat. I’ll never forget that day! Also remember watching his shows on TV with my pawpaw growing up, used to love National Geographic and History Channel, learned a ton over the years.
