Daniels wins the Heisman in a runaway if you go by personal stats and big plays. Nobody catches him on that basis.
Nix's argument came down to having a better record... but he'd have had to win tonight and lead Oregon into the playoffs for that to hit maximum effect.

Penix had a good case, but hit a mid-season slump as far as stats. But he's 2-0 against Nix and Oregon this year.
