I mean, he flew to Israel days after this shitstorm to kiss the ring of the PM.
Probably double edged by not wanting to catch a ban from Israel or the tech industry located within.

Rather, I think that he has a strong conviction and wanted to be plainly and correctly understood by someone whom he respects - regardless of access or financial interests.
He seems to be driven more by respect than profit.
