Serious question....any chance any of these "girls" are those teachers none of us ever had in school?

Seriously, there isn't much you can do but just teach them responsibility and about potential consequences. This might be an uncomfortable conversation to have, but you have to have it. Don't embarrass him. Take him out or aside, just you and him, let him know that you looked and remind him why you can. Tell him what you found, understanding that it's pretty normal for a boy his age. But explain the limits and the absolute "don't dos" and why.

Frankly, there should be nothing embarrassing about this conversation. I could sit down with my 16yo son and have this talk without hesitation. Just make sure he knows you're there for his questions and that you aren't judging or trying to embarrass him. You just don't want this leading to trouble or public ridicule. And if he's putting anything on the internet, it NEVER. GOES. AWAY. If his classmates see this stuff, it will follow him.

And no, don't take the phone. That will fix nothing. He needs to learn how to be a responsible user of the device.
