a home playoff game? Or an SEC Championship and a first round bye in the new playoff format?
Obviously the SEC Champion is going to get a first round bye. I would rather not win the SEC and get a home playoff game. That atmosphere in Tiger Stadium would be nuts!

SEC Championship and a bye is the only answer. Would I be mad at a home playoff game though? frick no.

That is a problem. The top seeds are going to rightly argue that they deserve a home playoff game. The NCAA is still trying to hang on to this antiquated and obsolete “bowl system.”
Just like the NFL with the Super Bowl, all FBS playoff games should be home-and-home until the National Championship game.

I would rather they ROTATE the SEC Championship game. I'm done with Atlanta every year.
