It's just from histopathology. The only thing anyone has ever produced is a case report someone linked here about 5 vaccine-associated deaths, which showed lymphocytic infiltration in the myocardium. If the vaccine is causing events at a higher rate than the infection itself, the histology will absolutely have some characteristic pattern.
