Ok LSU lost three games. Those three games HAPPEN to be against the best three teams on the schedule which inflate the SOS numbers.

Daniels is on the team that lost those three games. Hence, saying he played a hard schedule is flawed because the games in which his team WON were against bad competition.

One could also claim that had Oregon played such a schedule they might have 2 or 3 losses.....and if they had our defense they absolutely would have.

That's true. But this is an individual award, NOT a team award. With that logic Tebow, Lamar Jackson, RGIII, Johnny Football, and Caleb Williams shouldn't have won the Heisman because their teams had losses too. It didn't stop voters from picking them. If the ONLY reason you give the award to Nix or Penix Jr because of their team's success that's truly a lazy take. While their teams have been successful, their level of play has not even come close to Jayden's. Washington's defense was the only reason they didn't lose that game against Arizona St and Oregon was in a dogfight against Washington St until they pulled away. Their defenses aren't great but good enough to keep their teams in it. If we had either defense, LSU could say the same. And none of that has anything to do with Jayden's individual performance.
