Lafayette is holding up ok. Housing has soften some. Things likely will slow down more if oil prices are low for a long time. It's not as much an oil town as it was during the 80s but a slow oil business will definitely have a negative impact.
Traffic crazy around the mall as usual so retail seems to be doing ok, at least for now.
