No way. We here in SW LA are getting great oysters for $20 or less per dozen, raw. Less if you buy them by the bag and shuck them yourself. But we also are getting 16-20 count shrimp heads on from boat for less than $4.25 a pound.

That’s insanely high, most of the fall we’ve been getting them for less than $3/lb.
