re: How do you deal with telemarketing spam?

I'll play with them for a little while, until they get pissed and hang up or I get tired of it.

The fun part is telling irritable Hajis that if they don't calm down, little elephant-head boy won't bring them anything for Ganesh Day. Usually they scream that they're Pakistani and not Indian at that point and I get to tell them all about how Mohammed was a pedo and probably got fleas from his camel when a nine-year-old child wasn't available for his pleasure.

Our office manager said I was overly cruel when I told one of them that after spending his life in a call center trying to scam people he would probably die alone in a bathroom stall and no one would miss him or even care since he never produced anything worthwhile in his entire life. (Sometimes it's fun to pull the existential thing on them just to plant the seed.)
