Dealing with TMJ- Symptoms, Treatment Options, Food Suggestions

I've had TMJ off and on since high school where I'll wake up in the morning sore from either my mouth moving up and down or grinding all night. Have had multiple nightguards made that tend to help for a bit then a year later run back into the same issues. In this current flare up, it's been about 3 weeks of waking up sore and it continuing to get worse throughout each day.
After seeing dentists, chiropractors, oral surgeons, and a TMJ specialist feels like I'm almost back to where I started except now with a night guard and some jaw exercises. Most recent suggestion was to try a physical therapist to loosen the jaw muscles + take a muscle relaxer. Going to explore that option, but honestly tired of seeing tons of different doctors prescribing different drug combos (most recent one was Xanax and an antiinflammatory which did nothing) and treatments. Last year it was botox which seemed to help for 6 months or so but now right back to jaw pain.
I'm curious if anyone on here has found a good treatment option for your TMJ? Willing to try anything at this point given the usual treatment options haven't done much.
Also, I could use some help with soft food suggestions besides the usual yogurt, eggs, meatloaf, mac + cheese, etc. Thanks

Botox cured mine. Some say it’s only a temporary fix and even the oral surgeon said that it only last for 6 months but that was 4 years ago.

How often did you do botox? I've done it twice now (about a year and also 6 months ago)
