re: MRI...Anyone ever had one?

I had one about 15 years ago.

It cost roughly 1,500 dollars pre Obamacare. I had a measley 500 dollar deductible. Since, I was no where near that, I had to pay 500 out of pocket since it was done at an imaging center. Luckily, they allowed me to split it into 3 payments.

A few years later I had a cat scan of my lower legs done with contrast to see my vericose veins, they did it in office and coded it as an office visit. So the 2,000 charge was included in the visit. All of my vein procedures were considered office visits so I only had to pay 55 or 60 dollars each procedure.
