that's the problem with Chalmette and always has been, except when it was in lower classifications like 3A.
St.Bernard Parish has never produced big enough or strong enough players for 5A. It's not in the gene pool.

Our disadvantage is the whole Catholic League being right there… other schools lose less of their talent pool
