Question for OP: is it a 1st gen Scout with a Bergara stamped barrel? Even if not, its still a great rifle at 200yds. No reason to hold it back. Find some ammo it likes, invest in a good scope setup, and enjoy it.

I havent hunted with it in a couple years. but when I originally zeroed...I found out that it likes the Federal Fusion 200gr (maybe it was 180 gr) regardless....I have some at the camp. Federal makes great rounds.
