He did well at App St and has Mizzo a legimate SEC team now. Mizzo. Eli has them going to their third staight bowl game.
I think the body of work is sufficient to say the man is a good coach.

IMO I think he’s still learning on the job. Missouri has allowed that as they knew it would be a process to get back to pinkel success. Addition of OC has showed he’s evolving and developing. Is he an elite game day coach I would say no. he does seem to understand how to connect with recruits and how to manage NIL. I would say he has done more with less when all considered. He’s getting close to that point in his career where he needs to define his end game. He could stay at Mizzou, keep team competitive, be paid very well and spend his off time under the radar. Or he could go route of Jimbo, high risk, high reward and everything under the microscope.
