Donnie or David Greer with Century Oak homes on the north shore. Can't remember his name for sure but I'm a builder and I met with him multiple times when he was building a friends home in Covington on some acreage and he was awesome.
A lot of builders don't know wtf to do as soon as they get out of a subdivision. Especially with earthwork and civil applications.
The things that I remember sticking out as really smart was-
he signed a contract he wouldn't make any profit on change orders beforehand so he gave my buddy any change order documents.
He came back unsolicited twice in to check out the house. My buddy said he just texted him out of the blue, showed up and checked his roof and for leaks at water penetrations and talked to them about maintence at like 3 months snd year. That's fricking rare.
Then the thing I couldn't believe was they agreed upon 6 months on the home. Full design build. Dude finished in 4-1/2 and gave my buddy 5k at the closing table because the build went quicker than expected.
I told my buddy I'd fricking expect him to want the extra 5k. I can't find the dudes info online but I can text my buddy if you're interested in him. I think he's a one man operation that basically is word of mouth.

Just did a quick search and couldn't find anything for him. Any luck?
