I am not sure about their entire line but a lot of their food is grain-free with a lot of peas and potatoes which are the grain replacements that have been linked to DCM. There has been a lot of advertising put into the benefits of grain free food (I think Blue Buffalo was one of the early ones) but there is no legitimate reason to avoid grain in dog food even though it seems a little counterintuitive.
As for the person asking for recs for the Aussiedoodles I am guessing you bought them from a reputable breeder. If you did I assume their adult dogs appeared to be in good health or you wouldn't have bought puppies from them. Breeders need to keep their dogs in excellent shape, especially their bitches. So my suggestion is query the breeder about their adult food. They will know what works for their breed and more possibly specifically their bloodlines.
One of the main things I would look for is all the ingredients are from the US. Added folic acid and taurine seem to be acceptable exceptions since they are almost all sourced from China.
