This is what I was alluding to with my ‘in situ” comment and is along the lines of the type of extraction I would expect. Makes sense. Thanks for sharing.

Any idea the number of well clusters it would take to get a decent amount of material to the surface?

AFAIK, that remains to be seen. I'm of the opinion that they should hit the areas of high concentration first. Doing this gets them large quantities of lithium to market while the spot price is higher. Once their full scale operation is proven and they are producing a steady supply, spot price will fall. It doesn't maximize our gains potential to prove full scale capability with a 5,600 ton pilot plant with Lanxess.
