Were they? We had doubts about Daniels (he obv exceeded expectations). We knew the defense was mostly new players and would struggle, especially in the secondary.

I think the most optimistic expectations were 10-2. Now we're looking at 9-3. Given the insane player attrition on the defensive side which was already bad and thin, it isn't that hard to see why the team is where it is.
