... Bingo. This is a great route to go. My son is a junior in college. He joined the Army National Guard and qualified for a $20,000 sign-on bonus when he was 18. He is a Combat Engineer and being deployed to Egypt in a few months.
He will receive active duty pay, and his GI Bill will go from paying about 75% of his college tuition to about 90% after his tour.
