Less than 2 years ago you had a lot of people on here expressing their anger when LSU took a (relatively) surprising transfer from Arizona St. when they already had a 6th year senior who had "paid his dues" in the program and had a few games of decent success. Is any rational LSU fan still angry about that decision?
Myles Brennan entered the transfer portal in November 2021, came out but was compeltely broken from his arm break injury, he was a huge question mark if he could even play so they took Daniels which makes sense.
We got a transfer QB (Daniels) because Max Johnson entered the transfer portal in December of 2021, Brennan was basically broken at that point and Nussmeier was the only QB left and was going to be a redshirt freshman besides Walker Howard coming in as a true freshman. I mean no sh*t we got a transfer QB with a broken Myles Brennan and 2 freshmen basically.
This isnt a similar situation, it was questionable how effective Brennan could even be due to his injury history (abdominal in 2020 then arm in 2021), so they got a transfer QB. It became apparent by the spring game how far off Brennan really was and he was never going to be able to operate behind a patchwork OL. I mean the dude quit the football team before the start of the season.
