Skeptical me says that looks like a high fence deer farm deer.

Could be an escapee also. Can’t believe you admit to killing that deer and others then go on the news channel and tell everyone in Texas where you killed it and that there are so many big bucks there that a a 14 year old girl has been killing one every year.

Wouldn’t be surprised if it was a lie one bit. Rather the father is sending people in the direct opposite way (I could see me doing this if I knew I couldn’t keep a lid on something) or that he is just wanting internet cool points.

I used to work with a guy that lives around there he sent that picture to me the other day and then texted me a few days later and said it was confirmed that deer was 1 of 3 bucks that escaped from a high fence two years ago. Apparently there is still one that hasn’t been killed yet. Regardless of where it came from, it was free ranging for 2 years before she killed it.

Maybe some people just have a habit of telling the truth?

Congrats to the young girl. I’ve seen many a grown man air ball on a 85” eight point from 75 yds with a 30-06. She got the job done
