I've noticed that BK's issue at LSU so far is having the team ready to play in week 1. The team doesn't get rolling until about halfway through the season. Miles, for all of his faults and inability to beat Saban, had the team ready to play for week 1.
Starting next year, that will be irrelevant if he can be top 4 in the SEC.

Not a Miles fan, but who did beat Saban more than Miles did. Not many I bet. Saban was in his prime during Miles and Orgeron's tenure.

Agreed, and I was concerned seeing it in year two. However, even with the transfer portal, I think I and most others underestimated how much overhaul this team needed. Especially in our secondary. Many knew it was a concern, but...yikes. only so much coaching can do about it.
I'm feeling pretty good about everything right now.
