Simple google search says otherwise: "If you're standing outside next to them, you can stick a razor blade or even your hand between the stones because they're so worn and beaten by the wind and by tourists. However, if you go inside, to where the stones are granite rather than sandstone, no, you can't stick a razor blade between them."

Obviously weathering has occurred when you talk about the duration it has been around, but when observing the actual alignment of the stones from the inside it is perfect alignment
