The fact we elect new leaders every four years is the ultimate guardrail against any kind of dictatorship.
However, we’ve seen a new brand of politician recently that will claim cheating every time they lose. Kari Lake, Donald Trump and yes Hillary Clinton. It’ll pass like all things do, but it may take a generation.

When they don’t allow anyone on the ballot unless they swear fealty to the deep state how is that any different than a dictatorship
