Crack in pool concrete at concrete seam......

I have a crack along a concrete seam in the concrete around my pool. Its about half a inch wide and appears to be pretty deep. I can assume it probably reaches to the pool liner. Should I fill it with concrete filler? I assume I need to do something before winter sets in.

Are we talking horizontal pavement or vertical gunite.

Horizontal pavement on an in the ground pool. The part you walk , not in water
