This was my take from that game. At the beginning, we expected Chase to receive double coverage. I think Clemson was able to kinda hide what they were doing at first. When Steve E/JB/Chase et al recognized they were only single covering Chase, it was over.

I also agree that Terrell’s coverage was spot on. Chase with JB was just in another world.

I’m not sure exactly how effective sign stealing and in person scouting is in today’s world. It sure didn’t help Clemson in the Championship Game.
